I saw Crocuses today
I heard the whisking scratching
Flirt of leaves on the side-walk.
They had escaped the mulch.
Two hours ago
I stood
Beside a clayish damp hole
Dug
A pipe fixed
Water pressure restored.
Yard work!
Some putter – some tackle
Grand! Grand!
