Invisible Peace

By January 3, 2023Be Well Today

People who live one day at a time sometimes share with us an invisible peace. During difficult moments they appear to be hopeful and kind. Often they endeavor to be helpful and reasonable. They also, though it might be hard to understand, seek to comfort rather than to be comforted. Their reality is these people are real, alive, and sometimes struggling people. These are people who come through for other people when needed. We all know these people. Their peace is formulated by and through other people who have shared and modelled this invisible peace with them. And whether we believe it or not, invisible peace is a God thing. We can call it grace. It has helped many of us. It is more often giving than receiving. If we pay attention we learn to feel it. Perhaps then we learn to share moments of it with each other. It’s a gift we need to share so it will grow.
