The Fears

By June 14, 2025Be Well Today

Many people living in one day at a time recovery understand the reality of having fear. These fears that we have might be a bit persistent but often they lie fallow and they’re really not as consequential as we think they may be. Often we learn to navigate our fear and we do okay. What we come to understand is that which we fear, although it might bring a lot of discomfort, is faceable, doable, or overcome. Another reality is some fears we have are just common sense. We avoid such harmful realities. After all we don’t try to kiss a cobra do we. What we discover is if we are afraid and we can take action to negate such fear and overcome this reality we do so. This is changing what we can. If we cannot change this situation we accept it and we avoid the wasp nest. It’s all based in reality and consequence. Peace
